Duncan – the opening section from GWTDT to me was Fincher’s anti Bond titles surely? And a cocking of the snook that he’s working with Bond but doing it his way – electronic grungey stuff, liquid titles – not out of place with a bond film but evocative for this new franchise.
That’s a good way of looking at it Darren. Very Bond like – I guess he’ll do a similar fiery one and a swarm of hornets for the next two films. While Trent remakes Misty Mountain Hop and When The Levee Breaks for the songs.
